ALFLACH is a system for simple and quick assembly of photovoltaic systems on flat ground and roofs with a slope of up to 5°. The load carrying capacity should of course be checked before.

Supplied are either dowels for securing in concrete, fastening T-angles or/and plastic tubs to take the weight of the retaining ballast.

We recommended ballast weight on a case by case basis, taking into consideration all snow, wind and self loads, plus spacer angles as well as module size and position. Note: concrete, stones and gravel ballast are supplied by others.

Depending on the type of roof, the angle brackets can be delivered pre-drilled or be site drilled. The diagonal struts are fitted as per instructions and included plan with the enclosed fasteners. These are pre-drilled but a second drilling on site may be required.

For optimum performance we recommend positioning the module at 30°. The universal triangle frame, made from aluminium L-profiles ready for site fixing or pre-welded, is well proven in other applications. Taking into consideration the module manufacturer’s mounting instructions, the modules can be assembled either vertically or horizontally. NEW:  Our latest solution for a non-penetrative system

Since May 2011 we have offered a low weight solution for module support frames where the required angle of tilt is achieved by means of a system of liquid plastics and fabric which are adhered to the roof.

Simple to use, this modular system is suitable for all kinds of flat roofs – whether felt, membrane or bitumen. In addition it is lightweight with only 14 kg/m². For attachment felt, boards, liquid plastic or a solar fastening can be used.
