Dynamics with the sun

The ALTEC intelligent tracking system is a mounting system which increases the capture of available solar radiation. It allows dynamic PV modules to follow the sun in an efficient and simple way. The high capacity motors enable both horizontally and vertically movement of the PV array to retain optimum orientation towards the sun. With high reliability, a long-life cycle and an increased energy capture of between 20% and 45%, the tracking system represents something special.

The north/south orientation is fixed 30 degrees but the angle of the east/west changes by +/- 35 degrees according to need. The tracking itself occurs by sensors which detect the solar rays through GPS or through a programmed loop. An ideal aspect is also provided by the mast because it doesn't generate any shading.
